Sanctus Real Begins Tour with Third Day on March 6

Reviews Declare WE NEED EACH OTHER Album “Stunning,” “Flawless,” “Highlight of 2008”

Sanctus Real With its acclaimed new album WE NEED EACH OTHER now in stores, Ohio-based rockers Sanctus Real join Third Day for a spring concert tour that begins March 6 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Led by the #1 title track, WE NEED EACH OTHER is generating the best reviews of Sanctus Real’s already well-honored young career. CCM Magazine says it’s “more than just the band’s best release; it is one of the most melodic Christian pop albums to come along in quite some time . . . stunning production . . . flawless performance.” ChristianMusicToday.com calls it “easily Sanctus Real’s best . . . jam-packed with enough hooks to seep deep into your cerebrum for weeks.” CMSpin.com deems it “a wonderful addition to Sanctus Real’s growing body of fabulous work and a highlight of 2008.”

On the brink of the tour with Third Day, JesusFreakHideout.com has posted an inspiring new interview with Sanctus Real lead singer Matt Hammitt about what it’s like to now perform regularly alongside artists—from tobyMac to Delirious?—whose posters used to adorn his walls as a teenager.

Sanctus Real released its national debut via Sparrow Records (EMI) in late 2002. Since then the band has charted a half dozen #1 radio singles including “Everything About You,” “I’m Not Alright,” and a cover of U2’s “Beautiful Day.” The group also won a Dove Award for Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year (FIGHT THE TIDE) and toured last fall with Christian music headliner Steven Curtis Chapman.
